Tamia Marrow is the 2017 Alamance Women’s Community, Inc. Scholarship recipient. Congratulations, Tamia on your accomplishments in serving your family, your school, your community, and yourself!
Tamia will attend NC Central University in Durham this Autumn. She was selected due to her high GPA, strong work ethic in and outside of school where she works for McDonald’s and purchased her own vehicle. Her father is waiting for a kidney transplant making this a financially stressful time for Tamia’s family.
Tamia came by the June Board Meeting to pick up her Scholarship and the Board was happy to have met this year’s recipient.
