On April 6, 2018 the gospel artist Jason Runnels will perform at the Paramount Theater in Burlington in a concert to support the Alamance Women’s Community, Inc. Scholarship.
Former Elon residents, the Runnels are now based in Mississippi. Their three sons began performance with Alamance Children’s Theater and later ministered with their dad.
In an interview with the Times-News’ Charity Apple, Jason shares that “it was the Runnels’ love for Alamance County that inspired the Alamance Women’s Community … to ask them to perform for a gospel concert fundraiser.” And while “this will be the first time that Runnels has performed alongside The Londons, but he said, ‘I’m definitely looking forward to working with them. I’ve heard a lot of great things about them.'”
The Londons live in southern Alamance County and are led by Scott London who is one of the pastors at Bethel Baptist Church in Graham.
