What a lovely and large turnout for our Annual Alamance Women’s Community, Inc. Christmas Party!
Members and their guests gathered in the Terrace Room at Alamance Country Club with holiday music and a basket full of toy plushes collected by our members for donation to the Burlington Police Department. The toy plushes are given to children in hopes of helping to calm them when involved officers are responding to accidents and domestic disputes.
Following a delicious dinner complete with a wide selection of desserts, our Vice President and Socials Committee Chair Pauline King led us all in a fun get-to-know-you question and answer game.
As tradition holds, AWC, Inc. will not hold a Board Meeting in December but the Sunshine Committee looks forward to delivering the toy plushes on our organization’s behalf this month.
