Gathering together is a very special part of the Alamance Women’s Community, Inc. As some of our membership is getting older and younger members are becoming active, there are a lot of details about the work of an almost 60 year old organization to share. So much work of AWC, Inc. was done long before computers with their tiny and efficient storage capabilities came along that much of our history is shared in stories.
But tonight was not about all of that. Tonight was about laughter and learning. We gathered at a member’s home for BBQ, the fixings, and dessert and a fairly raucous match of team trivia. Who knew we had such competitive AWC, Inc. women? It was great to have guests with us and we hope they’ll soon join us in serving our community.
